2025 NSW Indoor Rowing Series
Compete in the 2025 NSW Indoor Rowing Series from your home, club, or the gym. Log via Row Nation, join in-person hubs, and track live leaderboards.

You want to race this season. Not train for one. Not watch one. Actually race. But the nearest indoor regatta is a long drive away, on a date you can’t make, and so the racing stays something other rowers do.
The 2025 NSW Indoor Rowing Series closes that gap. It’s a statewide indoor rowing competition you can enter from home, your club, or the gym: choose an event, row it on your erg during a four-day window, and log the result through the Row Nation app. Live leaderboards show where you stand across New South Wales while the window is still open. The start line is wherever your erg is.
Race anywhere, anytime
The four-day window is the part that makes this work. Four days is long enough to fit a race around shift work, school runs and everything else, yet short enough that the leaderboard still feels like a contest rather than a term project. Pick your distance: 2000m, 1000m, 500m, 150m, or a 30-minute open-rate row. Row it. Log it in the app. Watch your standing update across the state. Before your window opens, rehearse your distance once at race pace, so event day is about racing, not guessing. The full format lives on the Rowing NSW series page.
Events and categories
There’s already a division with your name on it. The series runs U16, U19, Open, Masters, Para and Lightweight categories across the fixed distances, plus a 4 x 500m team relay in male, female or mixed line-ups. Solo racers chase their own class. Crews of four share a relay. Find the category you’d actually race, then point your training at its distance.
Hubs, entry, and what’s included
Racing from home is the flexible option, not the only one. Select Row Nation Row Club hubs host live race sessions and pre-event workouts, so you can row your piece next to people breathing as hard as you are. Entry is open to everyone, club member or not, through Humanitix under the Rowing NSW event, and you’ll receive access details for app sync and hub locations. One entry covers insurance, leaderboard access and every distance in the series, so you’re free to race them all.
That long drive to a distant start line? Skip it. Set up the erg, pick your distance, and by the end of the window your name sits on a leaderboard beside rowers across the state, all pushing for the same mix of physical and mental fitness. Racing stops being something other rowers do. It becomes something you did this week.
