This years Australian Indoor Rowing Championships will be live across the country and we want your club involved. Make it a day to get all members young and old together and introduce new people to your space too.
Once you have entered to take part, you can register to compete at one of the great clubs and gyms around Australia. These venues are opening their doors to let you participate.
Kick off the season with your club taking part in OIRC/AIRC23. Turn your club into a Hub and bring your members together to compete, support and motivate each other as you take on the rest of Oceania live right from your club.
To make your club a hub for the day, you will need:
Concept 2 rowing machines.
Laptop to connect the Concept 2 rowing machines to the Time Team race system.
An internet connection.
A tv or screen to show the live YouTube stream.
A laptop or phone camera to share the action taking place in your space.
Watch this video on how to connect up your rowing machines to the Time Team race system.
Each hub should have a maximum of 20 rowing machines. A maximum of 4 rowing machines can be connected up to a dedicated laptop. It is preferred that your laptop is connected via Ethernet cable to the internet however WIFI does work. A back up of a 4g hotspot is recommended. Ideally there is 1 volunteer per laptop and 4 rowing machines. Please test your set up including a connectivity test before event start.
