Participating at a designated hub for the Australian Indoor Rowing Championship (AIRC) offers a unique and engaging experience.
Hubs, which include local rowing clubs and gyms, provide a supportive environment where you can compete alongside others, bringing the excitement of race day to your community. It’s a fantastic way to connect with fellow rowers, enjoy the camaraderie, and get the most out of your AIRC experience. Find a hub near you and join the action!
This years Australian Indoor Rowing Championships will be live across the country and we want your club involved. Make it a day to get all members young and old together and introduce new people to your space too.
Make your club or gym a hub
Interested in becoming part of the AIRC 2023 community in a bigger way? Consider either becoming a hub or joining one of our existing hubs for the event! Hubs serve as focal points where participants can come together to race, offering both camaraderie and competition. Whether you have a venue or are looking for one, hubs make the Championships more accessible and exciting for everyone involved.

We understand there may be conflicts with other rowing regattas and sporting events on the 26th of October 2024. To accommodate this, competitors can submit their results in advance if unable to race on the official date. Early submissions can be made through the Row Nation app between 06:00 am on Wednesday, the 23rd of October, and 06:00 am on Saturday, the 26th of October 2024 AEST.
To participate, competitors must use a Concept 2 PM5 rowing machine connected to the Row Nation app. A specific workout link will be provided upon approval of an early submission request. Lightweight competitors must also submit weigh-in details via a form with photographic evidence of their weight and the date.
We encourage competitors submitting early to share images or videos on social media, tagging Rowing Australia or sending a direct message through the Row Nation app.
